Question: Can I cancel my reservation online?

If you find yourself unable to travel and come and discover our beautiful island of Martinique, don't worry, it will be possible for you to cancel your car rental with Europcar Martinique.

To cancel your reservation, you can contact us by email contact@europcar-martinique.com or via our contact page. You can also call us at 05 96 42 42 42, we will guide you, however, we will still ask you to confirm your cancellation by email.

Are there any cancellation fees ?

Yes, there are penalties for cancelling your reservation, depending on when you decide to cancel.

Below is an excerpt from the general rental conditions:

The client can cancel his reservation under the following conditions:

For cancellations made at least 30 days before the scheduled start date of the rental, the renter is fully refunded. Beyond this period, the amount of the reservation paid in advance will be reimbursed with the deduction of cancellation fees calculated according to the following scale:

For cancellations made between 20 and 29 days prior to the scheduled rental start date, a 10% cancellation fee calculated on the amount of the reservation paid in advance.

For cancellations made between 7 and 19 days prior to the scheduled rental start date, a 20% cancellation fee based on the amount of the prepaid reservation.

No refunds will be made for cancellations made less than 7 days prior to the rental start date or if the client does not rent the vehicle on the date reserved and has failed to inform the Renter in writing in advance.

Nevertheless, we offer you the option "Cancellation Insurance" of 35 € per reservation which guarantees you the total prepaid refund in case of cancellation until D-24H.

Why can't I cancel my rental directly with Europcar Martinique ?

If you did not make your reservation on our website www.europcar-martinique.com, you must contact the partner with whom you made your reservation, only this partner will be able to cancel and refund the reservation.
