The Municipality of Sainte Luce benefits from a beautiful Caribbean coastline, and offers beautiful calm and sheltered beaches, good quality bathing waters and an idyllic setting for walking; several very pretty coves follow one another: Gros-Raisin, Pont-Café, Fond-Banane, Corps de Garde, and Mabouyas. A hiking trail makes it easy to go from one to the other.
In the southwest of Martinique, the beach of Anse Dufour will surprise you. At the edge of this stretch of white sand, you can make magnificent dives as well as in the waters of Anse Noire, both accessible by rental car.
To go scuba diving, Martinique offers several areas to indulge in the activity during your stay. They are mainly located on the Caribbean Sea side where the waters are rather calm.
If there is one exceptional and unmissable place to discover in Martinique, it is the Josephine Bath. Behind this original name hides a magnificent lagoon with a shoal located in the south of the archipelago off the town of François between the Oscar and Thierry islands.
On the heights of the commune of Sainte Luce, overlooks a luxuriant and tropical forest of more than 75 hectares, the Departmental-State forest of Montravail. The ONF has set up two trails (the first of 20 min, about 1 km and the second of 1 hour, about 2 km) for all ages, for the enjoyment of young and old.
Hiking is one of Martinique's major assets. Indeed, the territory has a unique and extraordinary fauna and flora to come and admire. Its temperatures around 27 degrees all year round and its heavenly beaches make walks very pleasant.
