When booking a car rental, choosing a payment method is an essential step that must be planned in advance. At Europcar Martinique, as with most car rental companies, credit cards remain the most commonly used payment method. They are used both to pay for the rental and to manage the security deposit, which is usually taken in the form of a credit card imprint when the vehicle is picked up. The amount of this deposit depends on several criteria, including the vehicle category, the rental period, and the options chosen. Depending on the offers and periods, it is possible to pay online when booking, particularly to benefit from promotional rates, or to pay directly at the agency when picking up the vehicle.

Payment by Credit Cards
Payment online and in branch possible - Recommended
Europcar Martinique accepts most major credit cards, such as: American Express, Diners Club, Eurocard, Mastercard, Visa.
For other cards, please check their acceptance with our staff when booking and/or picking up the vehicle. The use of a credit card with Europcar is subject to acceptance by the issuing bank.
The name of the main driver must match the cardholder.
Payment in installments
Online payment only – Terms and conditions apply
Europcar Martinique offers a no-fee installment payment service for online car rentals. This option allows you to spread the payment over 2 or 3 installments at no additional cost. This option is only available for online bookings and will be displayed at checkout if your basket is eligible. To benefit from this option, the booking must be made at least 3 months before the date of pick-up, and payment must be made with a European credit card (Visa, Mastercard, CB) in the driver's name. Chèques-Vacances ANCV
Payment online or in-store – Reservation
At the agency:
Present your Chèques-Vacances at the counter; any remaining balance can then be paid by credit card.
Online:
At present, payment by e-Chèque-Vacances online is not yet available.
Please note, however, that when making a reservation on the Europcar Martinique website, it is not possible to combine payment by credit card and e-Chèque-Vacances. If you wish to split your payment (for example, part by Chèques-Vacances and the rest by other means), the split must be made directly on the ANCV platform, according to the options it offers.
Payment via mobile wallets
(Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Wallet…)
Payment in branch only - Fast
Mobile wallets can be used to pay for car rentals, subject to compatibility with your bank.
⚠️ When picking up the vehicle, a physical credit card is required in order to take an imprint for the security deposit.
Payment methods not accepted
Payment methods not accepted at the agency or on the website.
Please note that certain payment methods are not accepted for car rentals.
Cash payments are not permitted, even directly at the agency.
Bank checks are also not accepted.
Bank transfers cannot be used to pay for a standard reservation.
