How do I cancel my car rental with Europcar?
You have purchased cancellation insurance
You can submit your request through your online account, or contact us by email or phone. The prepaid amount will be fully refunded, except for the €35 cancellation fee. Cancellation possible up to 24 hours before the start of the rental
You booked directly on our Europcar Martinique website (without cancellation insurance)
You can submit your request through your online account, or contact us by email or phone. Standard cancellation terms apply (see below or our general rental terms and conditions).
You booked through a third-party site (Booking, etc.)
Please contact the platform where you made your reservation (e.g., Booking, etc.) directly to cancel. The partner’s cancellation terms apply (see their terms and conditions).
⚠️ In the event of a no-show on the scheduled date, no refund is possible unless Europcar has been notified in writing in advance.
Cancellation conditions for car rental without insurance
Without the cancellation insurance option, the following conditions apply:
Time before the start of the rental period | Reimbursement / fees |

Between 20 and 29 days before the start of the rental period | 10% fee on the prepaid amount. |
Between 7 and 19 days before the start of the rental period | 20% fee on the prepaid amount. |

En cas de non-présentation le jour prévu, aucun remboursement n’est possible si Europcar Martinique n’a pas été informé par écrit au préalable.
