When you rent a vehicle, it is essential that you are protected in accordance with the legislation and according to your own risk requirements.

This is why Europcar suggests that you cancel your excess, in order to avoid unpleasant surprises. Daily rates vary by category.

By subscribing to this protection, you will reduce the amount of the maximum financial responsibility (“deductible”) applicable in the event of damage caused to the vehicle according to the category of the desired vehicle.

She covers :

• Repair costs

It does not cover:

• Loss of vehicle keys and its consequences

• Closing the vehicle with the keys inside and its consequences

• Damage caused intentionally or through negligence

• Damage caused by an error in refueling

• Damage caused in the context of non-compliance with the general rental conditions.

• "Break glass" and "tyre" damage (including in the event of a puncture)

• Damage suffered by the top of the body and the underbody of the vehicle linked to a poor appreciation of the size of the vehicle
