Road Trip in Sainte-Luce

The town of Sainte Luce got its name from its patron saint, Saint Lucia. It is the third town which formed the trio of town with Diamond.

 Fishing village on the south coast of Martinique, Sainte Luce is a collection of smaller neighborhoods. The best known are Monésie, Coteaux, Epinay, and the Three Rivers, including famous for its rum of the same name. There is a contrast between the town located at the sea and the many hills which hug the town. It is possible from its highest points, to observe the Martinique in its entirety.

 1 - The "Gros Raisin" Anse"

is the closest to the center of Sainte Luce. Arriving from Fort de France, at the roundabout after the Total Station, take the first left and then at the end, turn left towards the city center. After the restaurant Pura Vida, take the first road on the left.You can sunbathe on a sandy beach, and swim in the turquoise waters. At the weekend, you may be lucky to see the teams train on Yoles (traditional boats in Martinique).Also plan sneakers to enjoy the Course of Health available throughout the cove Gros Raisin. While exercising, enjoy the view of the side of St. Anne and the wide blue shades.Finally, take your time strolling through the shops downtown or enjoying a local dish in the typical small restaurants Creole, feet in the sand.Finally, it is also the starting point of 4 km of marked hiking up to the Anse Desert, along the D7. 

2-  Anse Pont Café,

this small beach of about 150 meters, is located near the nautical base of the Village "Pierre et Vacances". It offering many water sport activities including windsurfing, kayaking and scuba diving.It is also easy to relax in the shade of trees, and why not hang your hammock, you are lulled by the trade winds.

 3 - Anse Corps de Garde

It is the largest beach of Sainte Luce. It is especially very popular with families Martinique during the weekend but also by many tourists. This cove is the main beach of Karibéa Hotels.This beach is well appointed and will meet the desires of young and old. You will find in particular the Club of gum trees in Martinique where you will be introduced to the traditional veil, small beach restaurants where you can sample the traditional Creole cuisine. 

Other coves, intimate, line the coast: Anse Desert a small beach near a forest and Anse Mabouya (which is not visible from the road but whose access that fact by the subdivision "Mabouya").
