In Martinique, there are many beaches suitable for children. The most beautiful and the least agitated are in the south of the island. The most famous and shallowest places are : 

- the beach of Pointe Marin in Sainte-Anne

- the beach of Grande Anse in Anses d'Arlet

- the beach of Anse Figuier in Sainte-Luce.

As on the majority of the beaches of the island, you will be able to benefit from the shade of the trees, other than the Fromager tree, to relax. Many snacks and restaurants are located near these beaches and you can go there with your family.

Swimming in rivers and waterfalls

You can also cool off in the waterfalls and rivers of Martinique. With children, we recommend the site of Coeur Bouliki in Saint-Joseph which has mini bridges and educational panels for the little ones. 

For the more adventurous families, go to the Cascade Couleuvre in Prêcheur. After a 1 hour walk, a splendid swim awaits you, in the heart of a wonderful landscape.
